About me

Samantha Lewis is a singer, actor, dancer with a heart for storytelling in all its forms. Whether she's performing on stage, composing at the piano, or guiding a young performer through their first rehearsal, she brings warmth, intention, and a deep creative curiosity to everything she does.

Her path to musical theatre was anything but linear. Samantha began her college journey studying Clinical Psychology, drawn to the science of human connection and the transformative power of therapy. It was that same fascination with emotional healing that led her back to what she'd always loved most — the stage. She is now finishing her BFA in Musical Theatre this spring at University of Central Florida, where she has found the perfect space where art and empathy intersect.

Beyond performing, Samantha is a self-taught guitarist and pianist who finds joy in writing and recording her own music. She is particularly passionate about the relationship between music and mental health, and the way songwriting can serve as a powerful outlet for emotional expression and healing. Her background in psychology gives her a unique lens through which she approaches every character and every song.

Teaching and directing theatre for young performers is another calling close to her heart. Her directing credits include Aladdin Jr. and Between the Lines Jr. and she finds deep fulfillment in helping children discover their own voices through the magic of live performance.

Her most recent performance credits include Legally Blonde (Margot), Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl), and Fiddler on the Roof (Ensemble, Hodel U/S).

In her free time, Samantha is most likely working on a crossword puzzle, sipping on a cold brew, or dreaming up her next creative project. You can follow her journey on Instagram at @ssamanthalewis and TikTok at @sammysclub.
